When I moved to LA, James Remar lived in my neighborhood and you just see him like having coffee outside. I was like, I'm so, so badly want to talk to James. I emailed... Two of my favorite movies ever. I interviewed James Remar once. He was the most straight talking person I've ever interviewed. He's a very serious dude. But he was like... This is my... As close as I can come. Here's the fucking thing, Sean. You got to remember when you're an actor, it's a lot of work. You have to remember that. I love those guys. Because it's fucking hard work. It's great. He's just a very direct, always dropping F-bombs in the middle of sentences for no reason. He was nice, but he was just like hard-edged, hard-talking... I guess... I assume he's from New York. Yeah. But he was cool. He's an interesting guy. Well, he's also going to win the Joey Pants Award. Because I think most people know who he is, but they don't know his name's James Remar. I didn't know that was his name. What about Mercedes Rule? Well, she was the other one. I feel like Mercedes Rule became somebody. Oscar-nominated. Hard not to... Hard to totally know it's her in this movie. She's super young. She ended up playing the mom in Big. What did she get nominated for? Is it Fisher King? Yeah. Is that right? She's the undercover cop. So it's one of those two. Would this movie have been better with Trey or Buscemi or Michael K. Williams? I think Michael K. Williams would have been incredible in this movie. I don't know which gang he should have been in, but I know I want it. I think he really would have been nice as the new Maasai, as Gramercy Riffs. Would have been great. Anywhere. As Cyrus. Oh, Cyrus would have been good. I want him as Cyrus. Well, maybe in the remake. Yeah. The Saul Rubenek they knew award that clearly goes to Luther. He is going for it, man. Incredible stuff. He's in the convenience store and she's like, hey, you're going to pay for that? He's like, for what? Yeah. I do like that part. Yeah. Picking nits. So, the Molotov cocktail that ruins the orphans. The orphans are, we're going to rain on you, warriors! And then it's like, all right, we get the Molotov cocktail, they throw it at a car and the orphans are just complete. Now you know why they're a D-level gang. They're so bad. One Molotov cocktail, they don't even know what to do. Yeah, they were not invited to the party for a reason.
